Privacy Policy

The short version

Habit Launch is built to help you plan and complete habits. Your habit data stays on your device. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or run an account system that sends it to our servers.

The app offers optional, user-initiated sharing and limited install-campaign measurement. Those features are described below.

What the app stores

Habit Launch stores the information you enter in the app on your device: habit names, goals, schedules, completion history, notes, settings and reminder preferences. This information is used only to provide the app’s features.

The app does not offer cloud sync or sign-in. We do not receive a copy of your habit data.

If you install Habit Launch through a supported campaign or shared starter-mission link, the app may read the Google Play Install Referrer once. It keeps only a limited, allowlisted campaign record on your device: source, medium, campaign, content and one of Habit Launch’s predefined starter-mission keys. It does not retain the raw referrer string.

Optional sharing

Habit Launch lets you create progress cards and starter-mission links. Sharing happens only after you tap a Share button and choose a destination in your device’s share sheet.

Progress cards omit the habit name by default. You may choose to include the habit name before sharing. The app creates the selected image and sharing text locally, then gives them to the app or service you choose. That recipient processes the shared content under its own privacy policy.

Habit Launch does not automatically post, upload or send a progress card, contact your contacts, or operate a public social feed.

Campaign measurement

When a supported Google Play campaign or shared starter-mission link leads to an install, Habit Launch may send limited campaign labels — media source, campaign and creative or template label — to RevenueCat. This helps us measure which acquisition sources lead to installs and purchases.

The attribution feature does not send habit names, notes, completion history, contact details or the raw Play referrer. Habit Launch does not deliberately provide advertising or Android device identifiers to RevenueCat through this feature. RevenueCat associates the campaign labels with the app’s anonymous purchase profile and processes them under its own privacy policy.

Habit Launch does not include an advertising SDK or general behavioural-analytics SDK.

Notifications

If you choose to enable reminders, Habit Launch schedules notifications on your device. You can turn them off at any time in the app or in your device settings.

Purchases

If you choose to purchase Habit Launch Pro, payment is handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. RevenueCat is used to help the app recognise and restore eligible purchases. Google Play and RevenueCat handle information under their own privacy policies.

RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user identifier and receives purchase information needed to provide and restore Pro access.

You can manage subscriptions and purchases through your Google Play account.

Deleting your information

You can delete individual habits in the app. Uninstalling Habit Launch removes the app’s locally stored data from your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a Google Play subscription; manage that separately in Google Play.

To request deletion of purchase and campaign data associated with Habit Launch, email basdesignco@gmail.com with the subject “Habit Launch data deletion”. Include your Google Play order ID or purchase receipt if available so we can locate the correct anonymous RevenueCat customer record. We will delete the associated RevenueCat customer data after verification and confirm when the request is complete.

Google Play may retain transaction records under its own policy, and we may retain only records required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or accounting obligations. Local habit data cannot be deleted remotely because it never leaves your device.

Children

Habit Launch is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app has no account or server-side habit-data collection, we do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date before those changes take effect.
